Christmas in July hit hard, and when I finished the Magickal Beans series, set in Mockingbird Springs, South Carolina, I headed straight to the North Pole in an attempt to escape the triple-digit temperatures and Hades-level humidity.
Between the air conditioner, the ceiling fan, a desk fan, and a box fan on the floor near the desk, I embraced my inner elf and started writing. As I mentioned before, learning to outline has increased my writing output. Dictation also helps, and I wrote 11k words on my best day.
